WCEF2023 Accelerator Session:
International Best Practices on Circular Economy Roadmaps -
The Case of Vietnam

This World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) 2023 Accelerator Session shared International Best Practices in developing Circular Economy Roadmaps/Action Plans, with a case of Vietnam's experience as an example. As part of Vietnam's transition towards a circular economy, the session highlighted the country's efforts in developing its Circular Economy National Action Plan. It showcased the lessons learned to promote circular economy action plans in other countries. Attendees gained insights on international best practices in circular economy roadmaps, providing value-added for states at all stages of the development process. This WCEF2023 Accelerator Session was jointly hosted by the Circular Innovation Lab, the Hanns Seidel Foundation and the Institute of Strategy and Policy on Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam (ISPONRE) with Chatham House as knowledge partner.

This event was an Accelerator Session at the World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) 2023. WCEF2023 gathered together forward-looking thinkers and doers and presented the game-changers in the circular economy. The Forum was held from 30th May to 2nd June in Helsinki, Finland. WCEF2023 was co-organised by Nordic Innovation and the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, with international partners.
