On the 10th of November 2022, we hosted a World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) 2022 Side Event on "Circular Economy and International Trade: Opportunities & Challenges for South Asia" together with co-hosts Chatham House and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and knowledge partners the International Trade Centre (ITC) and the European Environmental Bureau (EEB). At the event, regional experts discussed existing international trade opportunities and challenges for the rising South Asia giants with a focus on the plastics sector. Panellists from Plastic Bank; Ocean Quest Global; Crescent Bahuman; ASEAN Secretariat; Asian Development Bank; and United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) India spoke at the event.
