Outlook Report 'Exploring New Market Opportunities for EU-Based Businesses in India and new Business Partnerships'

GIZ India commissioned Circular Innovation Lab to produce an Outcome Report titled 'Exploring New Market Opportunities for EU-Based Businesses in India and new Business Partnerships'. We explored new market opportunities for EU-based businesses in India and designed a Stakeholder Consultation with EU and Indian stakeholders which focused on stakeholder engagement and the conceptualisation of a Circular Economy Innovation Lab in India.

 

The Outcome Report analyses market opportunities, assesses possible business development strategies and measures the impact of current business and partnerships established by EU-based companies operating in India. The report focuses on companies working in the textile and construction sector in the field of sustainable remanufacturing and value chain approaches. The Outcome Report additionally consists of an Action Plan exploring future growth and business opportunities for EU businesses operating in India.

Stakeholder Consultation - "Consultation on Partnerships and Collaboration for Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency"

As part of the Outlook Report, Circular Innovation Lab took part in organising a stakeholder consultation hosted by the EU-Resource Efficiency Initiative (EU-REI) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) India. The "Consultation on Partnerships and Collaboration for Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency" was conducted on December 18, 2023 in New Delhi, India and online. The consultation focused on assessing business development strategies, exploring financial approaches, measuring the impact of businesses and partnerships between EU and Indian companies, and understanding mutual needs and interests. It sought to foster partnership creation, knowledge exchange and stakeholder consultation through open discussion among Indian and EU stakeholders, financial organisations, and businesses.
