About the event
The World Circular Economy Forum 2025 (WCEF2025) is set to take place from May 13 to 14, 2025, at Ibirapuera Park in São Paulo, Brazil. This ninth edition marks the forum's first venture into South America, focusing on "Tropical Solutions for Sustainable Growth." The event will explore the potential of regenerative economies, bioeconomy strategies and the pivotal role of the production sector in advancing the circular economy.
The program features four plenary sessions and twelve parallel sessions, each guided by the latest scientific evidence. These sessions aim to explore cross-cutting thematic issues and present practical, scalable examples of the circular economy in action. The parallel sessions are divided into four tracks: nature, materials, people and business.
Following the main event, accelerator sessions organized by WCEF collaborators will be held online and globally on May 15 and 16, 2025. These sessions are designed to bridge forum themes with practical applications, facilitating targeted discussions around business, governance, finance, innovation, and employment- key enablers driving the implementation of circular solutions.
